According to the Blacksip report of the Chamber of Electronic Commerce , e-commerce sales in Latin America increased by 37% year- on-year in 2021 , reaching US$115 billion. It is estimated that in 2022, there will be 260.2 million online shoppers in Latin America, which is expected to drive US$167.81 billion in consumption . The overall market demand is very considerable.

According to the latest report from Euromonitor International , Peru's e-commerce growth rate ranked first in Latin America in 2021, with a growth rate of 87%.

Leslie Passalacqua, president of the Retail and Distribution Association of the Lima Chamber of Commerce (CCL) , said Peruvians will spend an average of 200-250 pesos on Father's Day this year , higher than the average in 2021.
