Recently, the cross-border e-commerce trade fair hosted by the Ministry of Commerce came to a successful conclusion in Fuzhou. This cross-border e-commerce trade fair attracted more than 2,000 cross-border enterprises from 66 characteristic industrial belts such as Fujian, Guangdong, and Zhejiang to participate. At the trade fair, Alibaba International Station launched the "Digital Export Port Plan", opening up the digital foreign trade service capabilities accumulated over the years and opening the "Digital Export Port" to the doorstep of the industrial belt. So far, Alibaba International Station has attracted 34 million buyers from 190 countries to seek business opportunities or complete transactions online , and is an important "digital outlet" connecting Chinese supply and overseas consumer markets .

As a traditional foreign trade province, Fujian has a solid industrial foundation and a good cross-border e-commerce ecosystem. According to information disclosed by the Fujian Provincial Department of Commerce, the number of cross-border e-commerce sellers and seller sales in Fujian Province ranked third in the country in 2021. In the same year, Alibaba International Station served more than 10,000 cross-border merchants in Fujian , with an annual export volume of more than US$1.8 billion. Shoes, clothing, luggage, home building materials, and auto parts with Fujian characteristics are popular categories for cross-border exports by Fujian sellers.

Since the beginning of this year, affected by the epidemic, small and medium-sized foreign trade enterprises have faced challenges. In order to help small and medium-sized foreign trade enterprises cope with the uncertainty of cross-border trade, on May 20, Alibaba International Station officially launched ten measures to help cross-border foreign trade, and launched a series of assistance measures in terms of trade, logistics, capital finance, services and talents. It is reported that as part of Alibaba International Station's "digital export" plan, the ten measures to help cross-border logistics, capital services and other measures have been launched in succession at the end of March. At present, it has benefited 13,000 merchants with a capital scale of over 1.25 billion. Zhang Kuo, president of Alibaba International Station, said that it is necessary to use deterministic digital products and services to help foreign trade merchants cope with the uncertain challenges brought about by the epidemic and win the battle for foreign trade recovery in the cross-border e-commerce battlefield.
