It's not just everyday casual wear. Intimate apparel, including sports bras and shapewear , accounts for the largest share of plus-size women's clothing sales units in the United States , at 27%.

 

According to NPD's market trend data feedback, jeans, tops and swimwear , which have traditionally been tight-fitting clothing types, are becoming popular search categories for large-size clothing in the United States . Many American consumers hope that these types of clothing can also provide more size options .

 

Although plus-size women 's clothing has been popular overseas for many years , consumers still face the problem of insufficient choices due to size, style and quality .

 

Many plus-size clothing consumers believe that it is not easy to find perfect and well-fitting clothes . The plus-size clothing styles currently available on the market are outdated, and most sizes are only XXL, with no more size options . They tend to look for more plus-size women's clothing with more innovative designs on platforms such as Amazon and SHEIN, but they still face problems with inappropriate sizes and poor quality .

 

Although the plus-size clothing market has been developing for many years , it is not saturated and consumer demand is constantly changing.
