It is reported that the two parties will integrate their advantages in product selection and website establishment, advertising, warehousing and logistics, installment payment, localized marketing and private domain traffic sedimentation in Southeast Asia to provide Chinese sellers with efficient, stable and secure overseas solutions.

 

As a SaaS service platform focusing on cross-border e-commerce , Jimiao Cloud mainly provides merchants with product selection, website building, marketing, warehousing, logistics and other services, helping Chinese sellers and foreign Internet celebrities and bloggers to open up emerging markets in Asia.

 

According to previous reports, Jimiao Cloud had launched internal testing in May last year and opened a small-scale free trial. Later, Jihong Holdings also stated that it received some feedback and suggestions during the internal testing period, and conducted tests, improvements and upgrades, and postponed the public testing time to January 20 this year.

 

 

As one of the protagonists of this cooperation, Atome has long been a leading brand in Asia's new "pay later" consumption model. It is understood that Atome currently has about 30 million registered users, more than 10,000 online and offline service merchants, and the platform covers Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore and other countries and regions, and will cover Japan and South Korea this year.

 

At present, the Jimiao Cloud service platform has integrated Atome's interest-free installment payment method. DTC merchants who build websites through Jimiao Cloud can automatically access Atome. At the same time, DTC merchants can increase their sales, repurchase rate and average order value through Atome's BNPL payment method.

 

Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL), which means enjoy first and pay later. Under the epidemic, this transaction model is gaining favor among more consumers. The survey shows that this payment method can greatly enhance consumers' purchasing power and willingness to consume. 76% of consumers said they like to use BNPL for consumption, and 85% of consumers said they would shop again at merchants that provide BNPL services.

 

In order to cater to consumers' habits and preferences, many leading brands such as SHEIN, ZARA, and Dyson have provided BNPL services. When talking about GiiMall and Atome, the head of Atome China said that the value of Atome lies not only in its BNPL payment method, but also in allowing cross-border DTC merchants to test the market at a low cost.

 

So far, Atome's cumulative payment amount has exceeded more than 1 billion US dollars. The fact that it can join hands with such a giant is also a reflection of the attractiveness and strength of Jimiaoyun. At the same time, some sellers expressed their views, saying that "I hope to continue to see the actions of Jihong Shares in the future and have more substantial investment promotion measures."

 

The highest number of orders per day is 50,000. It is also great for a big seller to become a service provider.

 

Starting out in the packaging industry, and then entering the cross-border e-commerce field, Jihong Co., Ltd. has continuously promoted the construction of its own brand until it launched the SaaS service platform and reached a cooperation with Atome. Along the way, it has written a surging and eye-catching chapter.

 

When many companies began to turn their attention to independent websites, Jihong Co., Ltd. had already taken the lead in the independent website market in Southeast Asia. In the second quarter of 2021, the highest daily order volume exceeded 50,000 orders; in the first half of the same year, the cross-border e-commerce market share further expanded, and Jihong Co., Ltd. continued to maintain its leading position in independent website e-commerce in Southeast Asia.


Financial report data shows that in the first half of 2021, the order scale of Jihong Co., Ltd.'s cross-border e-commerce business increased by more than 60% compared with the same period last year, with revenue of 1.39 billion yuan and net profit attributable to shareholders of the parent company of 130 million yuan.

 

 

According to the 2021 performance forecast released by Jihong Co., Ltd. , the annual net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company is expected to be 234 million yuan to 259 million yuan, and the company's continuous increase in R&D investment in the construction of e-commerce SaaS service platform is one of the main reasons affecting the performance changes.

 

Whether from the data or the business perspective, Jihong Co., Ltd. has invested huge amounts in the SaaS platform, which also means that this lower-cost but higher-conversion operating mode is gradually gaining popularity in the industry .

 

Indeed, it is not just Jihong Co., Ltd. Many big sellers in the industry no longer simply sell products on the platform , but have taken a new step and become both sellers and service providers.

 

In February this year , Lechuang announced that it agreed to sell its subsidiary an overseas warehouse with a building area of ​​approximately 95,872 square feet located at 1151 Commerce Blvd., Logan Township, New Jersey (Block 2803, Lot 1.02). The transaction price of this asset transaction reached US$23 million. With this fund, Lechuang said it would further improve its overseas warehousing and logistics system.

In addition to Leckey, another well-known cross-border retailer has also joined the cross-border service industry and transformed itself into a "mentor", namely Tongtuo Technology .

 

At that time, Tongtuo proposed a three-pronged development strategy of "talent training + project incubation + investment fund" . This move made industry insiders speculate whether Tongtuo had officially embarked on the path of diversified business.

 

In July last year , Tongtuo announced the establishment of the Cross-border E-Academy , launched a one-stop cross-border incubation training service, and has already started several sessions. In December last year, Tongtuo established a cross-border e-commerce equity investment fund, focusing on investment and incubation of small and beautiful cross-border e-commerce teams.

 

Tongtuo said that the ultimate goal of developing cross-border services is to help sellers and ultimately achieve true mutual benefit and win-win results.

 

The market is like a battlefield. With the business environment constantly changing, many big sellers, including Jihong Shares, Lechuang, and Tongtuo, have not stopped actively developing their main businesses while actively seeking new development directions. Nowadays, it seems that it is no longer a new thing for sellers to become service providers, but the transformation of these big sellers can bring changes to the industry, which is the most concerned point for sellers.
