After submitting information many times without success, Amazon Canada seller NHP was removed

Recently, an Amazon seller reported that five of his ASINs were mistakenly suppressed. Amazon said that the reason for the removal was that the seller's products were unlicensed natural health products (NHP). The seller said that he had repeatedly provided the NPN license documents showing the Canadian Ministry of Health to no avail .

The seller stated that he uploaded for each ASIN a product license document issued by Health Canada, a letter of credit document, a direct link to the product in Health Canada’s NPN database, bilingual label images in English and French, an ingredient list and NPN, and an image of the NPN entered in the licensing information section of Seller Central.

Amazon's seller support received the same response after nearly 5 days of review . After that, the seller again provided all the relevant documents required to show that the product had been approved by the Canadian Ministry of Health, but then received the same response again, asking the seller to submit the same information again.

In this regard, Amazon's relevant personnel suggested that the seller check whether there are any new changes in relevant policies and regulations recently, perhaps the seller's products do not comply with the new policies. However, the seller said that there are no changes in government regulations for its five products, which comply with the NHP license certification of the Canadian Ministry of Health and are active in its database.

The seller also said that Amazon support asked him to check his account, but when the seller asked the relevant staff in account management, they referred the problem back to support.

In addition to this seller, other sellers have also encountered related problems. They said that Amazon has been giving the same response and has not provided a way to actually solve the problem. Some sellers suspect that Amazon's staff has not checked any content in its database itself and has given a general response, or that the staff lacks knowledge of relevant regulations.

Recently, there have been many cases where Amazon support staff are unable to provide specific help to sellers, not just in Canada. The same is true for sellers on the Amazon Asia site. The inability to get specific and effective responses has become a "pain" for sellers , which seems to be like not being able to find the right remedy for the disease.

Sellers have a love-hate relationship with Amazon. Some sellers expressed the hope that the platform could be more powerful.
