Recently, the editor learned from the official Amazon seller forum that some sellers reported that their products were removed from the shelves due to infringement, but they could not find the infringing brand or the reason.
Seller VOLPORT said that his product was officially removed from Amazon. VOLPORT then checked the account status and found that the reason for the removal was trademark infringement on the product details page, but the seller did not receive any notification. After contacting customer service, the customer service said that no infringing brands could be found. VOLPORT posted his experience on the forum, hoping to get advice from sellers.
Amazon official staff Yvett_Amazon said that VOLPORT needs to visit the account status page of the seller center, click the complaint link next to the ASIN to file a complaint against the infringing product, and provide a valid invoice.
However , VOLPORT emphasized that although the Amazon system prompts sellers to receive infringement emails, they have not received relevant notifications, so they cannot judge the infringement behavior and infringing brands. At the same time, this product is designed and produced by themselves. Although no intellectual property rights have been registered in China, the authenticity of the product can be 100% guaranteed. Because there is no license agreement or authorization letter, there is no way to provide the corresponding invoice.
Amazon staff only told sellers to check Amazon's intellectual property policy and trademark FAQs, but did not provide any solutions.
Many sellers responded in the forum, saying that they had the same experience.
Seller A: Has it been resolved? I have also encountered this situation. I did not find any infringing content on the detail page, and I did not receive any performance notification or email notification. The customer service also did not know where the infringement occurred.
Seller B: My situation is similar to yours. I filed a copyright infringement complaint. My listing was deleted on Black Friday. I didn't receive any emails. I don't know who or where my copyright was infringed. What's even more ridiculous is that I own the copyright. The complaint only asked me to fill in some basic information. I didn't even have a place to speak. Now I can only wait and feel helpless!
Seller C: I also encountered a similar problem of trademark infringement on the product details page, but the link has been deleted and it will not be sold anymore. Do I need to file a further appeal? If I do not file an appeal, will it affect my account?
The editor would like to remind sellers that they must pay close attention to account operation details and report any problems to the official team in a timely manner to avoid losses. Amazon Seller Infringement |
