It is reported that the global sales of British e-commerce platform Fruugo during the Black Friday online promotion ( November 26th to 29th) increased by more than 50% compared with the same period in 2020, and increased by more than 200% compared with Black Friday in 2019.

 

Data shows that best-selling products on its platform include wireless game console controllers ( due to the epidemic lockdown, consumers' demand for video game-related accessories has increased ) ; toys and clothing ( mainly products made popular by social media such as Netflix , TikTok and Reddit ) ; and winter products - electric heated jackets - as the cold winter weather arrived early in most parts of Europe .
