Black Friday logistics speed survey: OnBuy has the fastest delivery speed!

The Black Friday war has just ended, and many consumers have received their purchased goods. According to the latest report from intelligence provider Tamebay , 15 packages were purchased from three e-commerce platforms, Amazon, eBay, and OnBuy, and their logistics speed was tested.

The current results show that OnBuy was not only the first to ship, but also the first to deliver. This package was delivered by Hermes Logistics, and it took less than 24 hours from ordering to receiving the goods . The second package was also from OnBuy, but it was delivered by Amazon. The third package was from Amazon, also handled by Amazon Logistics. The package purchased from OnBuy and delivered by Royal Mail was the fourth to arrive.

Combining the data in the table, we can see that OnBuy's packages are delivered an average of 4.75 days earlier than the promised delivery time.

When shopping online, in addition to the product sales process, consumers also pay attention to the logistics and delivery process. The delivery speed and logistics delivery speed are also key factors for consumers to decide whether to buy in the store.

In order to improve delivery efficiency, especially during the year-end shopping promotion, so that consumers can receive the goods as soon as possible, e-commerce platforms such as Amazon also try to optimize logistics and delivery services.

According to the latest news from logistics company MWPV LInternational , Amazon has opened 450 new distribution sites in the United States to handle and deliver goods. Currently, Amazon has more than 930 distribution sites in the United States .

Amazon Chief Financial Officer Brian Olsavsky revealed that by the end of the year, Amazon is expected to add 30 distribution centers, which can store about 3 million items. These sites are located in densely populated areas such as Chicago, Atlanta and Washington, D.C., to increase local package storage and delivery efficiency.

OnBuy has also announced a partnership with Easyship , an international logistics service provider, to provide platform sellers with omni-channel cross-border delivery capabilities. Merchants can use Easyship 's functions to handle any domestic and foreign orders and improve order processing efficiency.

Although Amazon is the leader in the global e-commerce platform, OnBuy in the UK has accumulated more than 7,000 merchants and more than 36 million products, and has its eyes on the global market. In addition, its delivery speed and logistics efficiency are also good, and it has received good reviews from buyers, so it has a promising future.
