DHgate.com releases new announcement, adding some new brands’ intellectual property protection

Recently, Dunhuang.com released two new announcements, stating that it will add intellectual property protection for some brands.

DHgate said: "DHgate has always respected the intellectual property rights of others, and we hope that all sellers on DHgate will also respect the intellectual property rights of others. Recently, the platform has received relevant complaints from relevant brands that some sellers' products infringe on the relevant intellectual property rights of relevant brands. Sellers are requested to conduct self-inspection of the product information of the store (including removed products). If unauthorized, please delete the relevant products immediately."

It is understood that the newly added brand intellectual property protection announced by Dunhuang.com this time is as follows:

Dunhuang.com stated that acts that infringe the trademark rights of intellectual property rights holders include but are not limited to the following:

1. Using a trademark that is close or similar to a registered trademark on identical or similar goods without the permission of the registered trademark owner;

2. Selling goods knowingly bearing counterfeit registered trademarks;

3. Forging or manufacturing without authorization another person’s registered trademark or selling forged or unauthorized registered trademark;

4. Intentionally providing convenience for acts that infringe the exclusive right to use a registered trademark;

5. Causing other damages to the exclusive rights of others to use their registered trademarks.

Dunhuang.com emphasizes that the platform will strictly monitor and severely crack down on intellectual property infringement. Sellers are requested to conduct self-inspections in a timely manner to ensure that all products in the store do not infringe intellectual property rights. If the seller's account is found to have infringement problems during the monitoring or review process, the platform will punish according to the relevant rules of the "Violation of Intellectual Property Prohibition and Restriction Sales Violations". For serious violations, the platform will directly impose a penalty of closing the account.

According to the sales rules of DHgate.com, if a seller sells infringing products or banned products, and is fined by a brand, card organization or other international rights organization, the seller must bear the fine. If a seller violates the rules of banned or restricted products and releases banned or restricted products, the platform will charge a fine for such products, and the fine must be borne by the seller.
