Ticket Monster (TMON for short) is the largest group buying website in South Korea. It was founded in May 2010 and has related sites in 26 regions in South Korea. It launches 60 group buying transactions every day. In addition to group buying, Ticket Monster has also launched some services for market segments such as family, activities, travel and instant transactions.

Ticket Monster has grown very rapidly since its founding. In just over a year, its revenue has reached 24 million US dollars and it has more than 600 employees. The website uses a little monster as its mascot, which can be seen everywhere in major media advertisements. The little monster that changes with different products is a major feature of the website.

After being acquired by LivingSocial, the second largest group buying website in the United States, in 2011, TMON was acquired by Groupon, the American group buying giant, for approximately $360 million two years later. In 2016, TMON announced that it would start operating independently from Groupon.

-In 2016, TMON's sales were $252 million and its operating loss reached $137 million.

-In 2017, TMON received a venture capital of US$115 million. As of this time, TMON's valuation was US$1.5 billion and the financing amount exceeded US$165 million.
