Wish launches "Wish Standard" program to incentivize high-quality sellers

Recently, according to foreign media reports, Wish announced at its Global Seller Summit that it will launch the "Wish Standards" program to encourage high-quality sellers to move forward.

Wish said the program is designed to help sellers improve buyers' trust in their stores. The "Wish Standard" program will measure sellers by implementing a series of quality standards, such as shipping experience, product quality, customer reviews, refund rates, and compliance with Wish's policies, similar to eBay and Etsy's top seller programs. Sellers who meet all standards will receive a "Quality Seller" badge, which will be displayed on their stores and product listings.

In addition, Wish emphasized that sellers participating in the "Wish Standard" program can get commission discounts, faster payment terms and better product exposure in the application. The next phase of Wish's plan is to improve product discovery on the platform by redesigning its homepage to highlight information such as banners, deals, brands and popular products. Wish also mentioned that it will integrate shoppable videos "in the coming months" to expand platform traffic and increase seller sales.

Wish pointed out that the "Wish Standard" program is part of the company's commitment to improving product quality across the entire platform. To this end, Wish is actively expanding its seller base outside of China to expand its business scope and improve product quality.

Farhang Kassaei, chief technology officer of Wish, said in a statement: "The 'Wish Standard Program' uses buyer satisfaction as a reference to measure sellers' performance in a series of services such as consumer experience, after-sales service, and delivery speed. The 'Wish Standard Program' enhances the purchasing experience on the platform by rewarding high-quality merchants who always provide a better user experience, ultimately achieving a win-win situation of outstanding seller sales performance and good user experience."

Subsequently, Wish also added video commerce to its platform . Wish launched a new video commerce experience in its own daily show , The Wayfair Rundown , to highlight the products available on its platform and inspire consumers to buy .
