Be careful! Two major brands have filed infringement lawsuits one after another

At present, the NIRVANA band has commissioned the GBC law firm to file an infringement lawsuit, with case numbers 21-cv-5207 and 21-cv-5361 .

NIRVANA was formed in Washington State, USA in 1987 and quickly became popular around the world with its landmark second album. Over the years, the band has also won many awards, including the American Music Award, the Brit Award, the Grammy Award, the MTV Video Music Award, the NME Award, and many more.

We know that many well-known foreign bands will develop peripheral products, and NIRVANA is no exception. The products sold under the band's brand include clothing, accessories and other goods such as wine glasses, posters and photos.

NIRVANA is well-known overseas, and its peripheral products have been sought after by fans for many years. Therefore, NIRVANA is very rigorous in protecting its rights.

In April this year , NIRVANA filed three consecutive infringement lawsuits, mainly for trademark infringement.

The US Patent and Trademark Office shows that the trademark "NIRVANA" has been registered by the band. The following female pattern with wings has also been registered as a word mark by NIRVANA. Therefore, it is obvious that sellers use these trademarks in products, titles, etc.

There is another case that is also worthy of sellers’ attention, that is the infringement case of fitness brand BALA BANGLES, case number 21-cv-5051.

BALA BANGLES is a sports company based in Los Angeles, USA, founded in 2018 by husband and wife team Natalie Holloway and Maximilian Kislevitz.

Bala Bangles fitness wristbands provide a dumbbell-like workout effect, providing constant and comfortable resistance to the user's workout, helping to burn fat and build muscle. Suitable for yoga, running, aerobics, Pilates, walking, travel, home workouts, core training, etc. Users can wear it on their wrists or use it on their ankles.

It is understood that the product has been registered for a design patent in the United States. In addition, the word "BALA" has also been registered as a word trademark. In other words, the word BALA cannot be used arbitrarily.
