Crematoriums are overwhelmed! With an increase of 350,000 cases per day, the epidemic in India is completely out of control

In India , a country with a lot of cheats, the epidemic situation seems to be "cheating", and the number of confirmed cases breaks records every day.

Data released by the Indian Ministry of Health on the 26th showed that 352,991 new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed compared to the previous day. India has had more than 300,000 new cases per day for five consecutive days. So far, a total of 17,313,163 cases have been confirmed and 195,123 deaths have been reported.

Due to the lack of beds and oxygen, many patients in the capital New Delhi died outside hospitals. According to the Global Times, one person dies from COVID-19 every four minutes in New Delhi . More than 2,000 people die every day in India , and the total number of deaths according to official statistics alone has reached 195,000 .

The true number may be "unknown". After all, according to the Times of India, 94 bodies were cremated at the Bhopal crematorium in India , but the local government only reported three deaths from the virus. Even the New York Times in the United States published an article saying that "there is growing evidence that the actual number of deaths in India is far higher than the official report."

The consequence of this is that India’s crematoriums are “overwhelmed”!

This may sound scary, but it is actually happening in India!

In New Delhi, the head of a local crematorium said that the number of bodies received by his institution has increased fivefold in recent weeks , and many bodies "have to wait in line for cremation." Some relatives of the deceased even had to personally cremate their relatives' bodies because the waiting time was too long ( 12 hours).

Many local crematoriums have been overcrowded with bodies. Faced with this situation, a park in southeastern Delhi, India, was directly transformed into a temporary crematorium, with 20 crematoriums built and plans to add 50. Another crematorium in Delhi directly built 20 new crematoriums in the parking lot .

In addition, some crematoriums in India are experiencing a shortage of firewood , and the crematoriums directly ask the families of the deceased to bring their own firewood.

Due to the continuous high-intensity work, the gas furnaces and wood-burning furnaces in many crematoriums in India were overloaded, and the metal parts in the furnaces began to melt.

However, faced with the raging epidemic, Indians did not seem to have tightened their prevention measures. Many people went out with almost no protection and participated in various major festivals without taking any protective measures.

It’s no wonder that Director Zhang Wenhong said : A bigger outbreak of the epidemic in India is still to come! Therefore, some netizens joked: So will India create a biochemical crisis first, or will Japan create Godzilla first ?

The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in India has hit new highs, and medical resources are in a state of emergency , which is not a good thing for sellers.

Although sellers benefited greatly from e-commerce last year due to the impact of the epidemic, the completely out-of-control situation in India will greatly affect the development of India's e-commerce industry.

The labor shortage caused by the epidemic , the increase in transportation prices, the restrictions on curfew passes and e-commerce by the local government in India have also greatly challenged the sellers and even the e-commerce platforms such as Amazon and Flipkart in India . Under such a crazy epidemic, its future development is still unknown!
