Sad! Computer seller receives clothes return

Returns are a big problem for Amazon sellers, and malicious returns are even more troublesome. Recently, a seller shared his bitter experience:

According to the seller's description, the buyer bought a second-hand tablet from him, and the seller also conducted a comprehensive quality inspection before delivery. However, a few days after receiving the goods, the buyer reported that there were defects, and the seller could not provide relevant evidence when asked. Then the seller proposed to replace it, but the buyer changed his mind and wanted to return the goods for a refund. Signs of malicious returns can be seen ...

After receiving the return, the outer box was also the seller's original packaging, which was also resealed and labeled . It was a little worn but there was no sign of tampering. Because the package was very light, the seller was also careful at the time and took a video of the unpacking process for evidence. After opening it, it was found to be a piece of clothing, and the seller does not sell clothing.

The seller sent the evidence to the buyer, but the buyer insisted that the tablet was sent back and put the blame on the courier. The seller contacted the courier and learned that the returned package weighed 0.6 kg, while the tablet weighed 2.3 kg.

Despite this, the buyer applied for an "AZ" claim as soon as he received the message from the seller , and the seller later submitted detailed evidence materials, but the specific outcome is still unknown, because from the various evidences, it is impossible to accurately determine who is lying.

Malicious returns are not uncommon. There were similar reports two years ago that a 22-year-old man defrauded about $370,000 from Amazon. He weighed the box after receiving the goods, took out the products inside, and finally put in the same weight of soil to return the goods. Because Amazon's returns are not immediately opened for inspection, this gave him an opportunity to take advantage of it.

Whether it is domestic or foreign, e-commerce platforms will always encounter various malicious returns. In such cases, sellers can only try their best to negotiate with buyers. If they cannot negotiate, they can only consider themselves unlucky ...

Recently, Amazon announced the extension of holiday returns, which caused sellers to complain again and again, but they still have to abide by the platform rules and can only hope not to encounter weird users.
