Double 11 merchant registration starts tomorrow, Tmall releases 10 merchant support measures

Starting tomorrow ( September 15), Tmall will officially start the merchant registration for Double 11, which means that merchants have entered the Double 11 period. Today, Tmall announced 10 merchant support measures that will be launched during Double 11 to help merchants achieve business explosion during Double 11.

 

Judging from the specific measures, Tmall's support for merchants during Double 11 this year is unprecedented:

 

During the Double 11 period, Alimama will upgrade the "Super Consumption Rebate" activity and subsidize merchants with 1 billion yuan of Alimama promotion red envelopes. Registered merchants who meet the consumption target value of the corresponding products can receive additional effect-based advertising red envelope subsidies, with a maximum of 10 million yuan for a single merchant.

 

At the same time, Taobao Alliance plans to launch a commission subsidy of 1 billion yuan, focusing on providing additional commission subsidies to Taobao customers during the Double 11 pre-sale period, with the highest return reaching 160%. Reporters learned that this is the largest subsidy to Taobao customers in the history of Taobao Alliance.

 

In addition, Alimama will upgrade the "Tianhe Joint Investment Incentive Mechanism", and a single merchant can redeem up to 10 million yuan of Alimama universal red envelopes. Taobao's small and medium-sized merchants and specialty merchants will also benefit.

 

Since the beginning of this year, Taobao and Tmall have continuously launched a number of measures to reduce business operating costs, and these measures will continue to be strengthened during the Double 11 period. During the Double 11 pre-sale period, after consumers pay the deposit, merchants can collect the payment in advance, 20 days in advance. During the August-October period when merchants are preparing for stocking, they can also get a minimum 40% interest discount from MyBank for "pre-stocking".

 

Currently, merchants have entered the critical stage of preparing for Double 11. Judging from the Double 11 loan applications received by MyBank, most merchants are confident that their business will boom and sales will increase during this year’s Double 11.

 

It is understood that this year's Tmall Double 11 will still maintain the rhythm of "nunchaku", with two pre-sale periods and sales periods. During the pre-sale period, consumers no longer have to stay up late, and the two pre-sale times are advanced to 8 pm. The two sales periods are from November 1st to 3rd and November 11th respectively.

 

 

Tmall released 10 measures to support merchants during Double 11

3. Taobao's small and medium-sized merchants and featured merchants who participate in Alimama's advertising, Taobao's commission expenditures, and the profit sharing of new tools can receive Alimama's universal red envelopes in proportion, totaling 300 million yuan.

 

2. Taobao Alliance will provide 1 billion RMB in commission subsidies throughout the entire Double 11 shopping festival

Special subsidies will be provided to all pre-sale products participating in the Taobao Alliance during the Double 11 pre-sale period, with the highest revenue from Taobao customer promotion reaching 160%. During the sales period, a "double commission" plan will be launched, with participating merchants receiving a maximum commission subsidy of 5% of the product price.

 

3. Innovation brings new business volume


5. Taobao App launched a first-level "Live Broadcast" channel on its homepage to provide merchants with more free public domain traffic for their own broadcasts.

 

6. Alimama's "Wanxiangtai" was innovatively launched to achieve global intelligent marketing, with zero threshold for all merchants to use. It covers more than 30 business target scenarios and improves the business efficiency of merchants by 20% on average.

 

7. The Double 11 grass-planting period will be launched on October 1st to create tens of millions of high-quality content for merchants. Free public domain traffic will be provided throughout the Double 11 period, and the shopping cart will be upgraded to improve the conversion efficiency of grass-planting.

 

4. Continue to reduce fees and interest rates to lower business costs


8. Tmall merchants can obtain pre-sale and payment collection financial services with a limit of 10 billion yuan: after consumers pay the deposit, merchants can collect the payment in advance in proportion, and collect payment about 20 days in advance.

 

9. Provide Double 11 "advance stocking" credit loans: Tmall merchants can get a minimum 40% interest discount from August to October.

 

10. The premium for the merchant's "return shipping insurance" for a single order can be as low as 1 cent and is valid all year round.
