Hundreds of merchants were fined for no reason! A well-known cross-border platform was blocked for rights protection

Recently, the well-known cross-border platform Txxx has attracted widespread attention in the industry for unjustified fines on merchants. Many merchants have posted on social media that they were fined huge amounts of money by the platform for no reason while operating normally.

It is reported that hundreds of sellers gathered downstairs of Aoyuan Building in Panyu District, Guangzhou to defend their rights. According to the information currently available, the amount of fines imposed on merchants ranged from a few hundred thousand to several hundred or even tens of millions. Some netizens said that "the ones who went to cause trouble were all big sellers, and the fines were several million or tens of millions."

A merchant who has been in business for many years and has a good reputation said on his social media account that he couldn't believe his eyes when he received the fine notice from the platform at first; there was no explanation, only a cold ticket. He believes that this practice of the platform not only lacks transparency, but also seriously affects the normal operation of merchants.

Another victim said, "We followed all the rules, but were still fined for no reason. The appeal channel is non-existent, and the response we get each time is vague and the problem remains unresolved."

According to the information that has been circulated, a person in charge from Txxx was on the scene to handle the matter. Someone at the scene revealed that "the money can be refunded, but it's just a matter of how much."

Although many merchants have not arrived at the scene, they have all revealed that they have been "suffering Txxx " for a long time.

A merchant said on social media that he also had his deposit frozen for more than 70,000 yuan because the customer service replied when a foreign customer asked about the company name . This statement caused many merchants to sigh helplessly, "Why freeze the deposit just for saying the company name?" "What if the customer asks?"

Another merchant also said that he was making money when he first started Txxx, but his account started to be fined after 3 months . Not only has the profit been confiscated, but the 1,000 yuan deposit is also about to be deducted. According to the merchant, this happened under the premise that they knew that Txxx would be fined and therefore would " check the quality of each piece of goods shipped from the warehouse ."

In addition to the fine for its cross-border platform "Qianqing", its parent company's performance in China is not much worse. The merchant whose deposit was frozen for more than 70,000 yuan has a friend who sells daily groceries. Last year, his sales at Pxx were more than 200 million yuan, but his profit was only 550,000 yuan. When talking about the gross profit margin, this friend said that the gross profit margin was actually negative. The profit of 550,000 yuan was obtained by subtracting the loss from selling goods from the money earned by stuffing game cards into the package .

It is worth mentioning that after the "Aoyuan incident" in the morning, Txxx released the new "Quality Accident Handling Rules" that evening, which covered all categories by default. It is reported that compared with the previous agreement, the new rules have updated some clauses and fixed some bugs. The key points include the fine base, fine coefficient, red line classification, etc. Some analysts mentioned that "fine base * fine coefficient" is the actual fine, and the fine base will be different for different quality accident situations.
