Attention European sellers! Pan-European logistics for small and light commodities is here

Attention European sellers! Pan-European logistics for small and light commodities is here

The criteria for small and light commodities are: products with a price including VAT of less than 10 Euros, fast circulation and light weight.

In 2016, Amazon launched a pan-European logistics plan to facilitate sellers' sales in various European regions. Now, it has launched a special measure for small and light commodities.

For eligible products, sellers can register in Amazon Logistics or European delivery network to participate in this program.

In each European site, products must be listed with the same SKU under each ASIN. For convenience, sellers can use the international listing tool to synchronize product quotes in other countries.

Register for a quote in the country where you want to participate in the program.

Finally, stocks are stored in participating countries.

After participating in the pan-European logistics plan, if the goods are shipped to Europe, the seller only needs to ship the products to the Amazon logistics center in one of the European countries. Amazon will use its own logistics resource system to distribute the inventory to the Amazon FBA warehouses in other pan-European countries.

Now that this plan has been launched, sellers' small and light commodities can also be included in the pan-European logistics distribution. At the same time, sellers can also use the manufacturer's barcode to transport and track the logistics information of the goods.

Sellers do not have to bear the transportation costs between countries, but only the local delivery costs where the buyer places the order. One warehouse can deliver to multiple countries, which saves time and logistics costs to sellers in the European market to a certain extent. Buyers at various European sites can also receive the purchased products quickly, which can improve the buyers' shopping experience. Returned products will also be stored in the nearest Amazon warehouse.

Some sellers also believe that after participating in the Pan-European plan, it is equivalent to using warehouses in multiple countries at the same time. They need to register local tax numbers and pay taxes in full. This still does not solve the tax problem that most troubles European sellers. Its biggest feature is that it makes it easy for buyers to cheat sellers.

Sellers still need to consider the situation based on their own market direction.
