Recently, the e-commerce platform Wish launched the Wish Parcel logistics program. Wish said that this program will make it easier for merchants selling on Wish to handle shipping matters.
Wish Parcel allows merchants to choose a shipping company that meets their needs and get discounted shipping rates, simplify shipping requirements, and at the same time, merchants can track orders throughout the entire process and share them with buyers.
The logistics service will cooperate with the United States Postal Service (USPS) when it is launched to support transportation within the United States. At the same time, Wish is also actively expanding its scope, seeking more cooperative carriers, and eventually supporting origin/destination areas around the world.
Wish Parcel is said to target small and medium-sized businesses while providing a simple, cheap and reliable shipping option for anyone shipping a package. Sellers can save up to 59% compared to shipping packages directly with USPS itself.
Wish said that for some merchants with large order volumes, they can use their purchasing influence to negotiate prices with logistics companies and get discounts. But for some small merchants or merchants who are just starting out, it is not easy to get discounts from logistics companies. This is the value of Wish Parcel - no matter how many orders you place, you can get preferential prices from logistics companies.
At the same time, Wish also announced the different service standards and package size and weight limits of Wish Parcel. According to the requirements, the maximum total length of a single package cannot exceed 130cm, the circumference cannot exceed 330cm, and the weight cannot exceed 70 pounds (31kg).
Wish also announced that merchants who already have a Shopify account can now connect their Shopify stores with Wish Parcel and access discounted shipping rates from USPS for seamless fulfillment of Shopify orders within the United States.
In addition, merchants who sell on some other platforms (such as eBay and Amazon or other online stores) can also use Wish Parcel to ship their orders. However, the function of automatically importing orders is not currently supported on these platforms.
Since July, Wish has introduced new policies to reduce the platform's collection, logistics, and storage costs. For sellers on the platform, the introduction of these policies is indeed good news. Wish E-commerce platform logistics |
