German retail giant Kaufland's sales in Poland reached 2.4 billion euros!

Foreign media reported that German e-commerce giant Kaufland recently released data showing that its sales in Poland reached 11 billion zlotys (2.4 billion euros) last year .

It is reported that Kaufland Poland recruited more than 2,600 employees last year to support the group's business development. As a large retailer in Germany and even Europe, Kaufland achieved a significant increase in sales revenue last year and achieved rapid business growth in many European countries.

Due to the booming business in Poland and the growing popularity of online shopping, Kaufland has enabled the Kaufland Network to support the delivery of its online orders. In response to the epidemic, Kaufland has installed self-checkout systems in more than 120 of its stores across Poland.

In addition, Kaufland has also partnered with European online grocery market Everli, allowing consumers to order groceries from Kaufland through the Everli website and have them delivered to their doorstep, a service that has also attracted a large number of Polish consumers.

Gunnar Günther, Chairman of the Management Board of Kaufland Polska, said that they will continue to focus on developing the one-stop shopping concept, opening new stores and modernizing existing ones to guarantee customers maximum shopping comfort.

It is reported that from April 14 this year , real.de was renamed kaufland.de and officially became a member of Schwarz Gruppe. The retail group Kaufland and the e-commerce platform real.de have started a win-win situation.

real.de is one of the fastest growing e-commerce platforms in Germany , with an annual growth rate that is six times that of the German e-commerce market . Compared with similar platforms, real.de has always been at the top of the popular e-commerce platforms in Europe since 2020, and has maintained a good momentum, with an immeasurable future.

After the catalysis of the epidemic, in the post-epidemic era, the traffic of Germany's real.de platform continued to surge, and the sales of platform sellers also saw a significant increase. The sales of some sellers increased several times, and some sellers who entered the platform early had sales of more than 5 times that of last year.

With the addition of real.de , the Schwarz Gruppe Group has gained greater strength, its online business has grown rapidly, and its position in the European market has taken a big step forward.
