TikTok launches "Small Business Block Party" series of events to help platform merchants develop

TikTok will hold 20 small business block party events across the United States from August 5 to November 18 to help grow its platform merchants.

TikTok promotes innovation to support business growth

The purpose of this party event is to bring together platform merchants and business experts through 20 small online seminars for the participation of all people, to exchange and interact on relevant experiences, so as to help these merchants better utilize this platform to develop their own businesses.

It is reported that each "party" will last for one hour, and small business owners and their teams can sign up to participate by simply clicking on the event entrance on the TikTok official website. During the period, TikTok employees, marketing experts, and local TikTok celebrities will share their unique insights on how to market through the platform.

TikTok has been committed to increasing its connection with brands, exploring the revenue potential of brands, and has launched a series of activities. The "Small Business Block Party" is just one of them. Earlier this year, TikTok held its first summit with the theme of "Preparation, Creation, and Growth" for small and medium-sized enterprises. At the same time, TikTok will also launch the UK's first "For You" pop-up store in London on the 22nd of this month to provide consumers with a different shopping experience.

TikTok is growing rapidly and has become a major platform in the minds of merchants

TikTok has led the download charts almost every month for the past year and a half and is on track to reach 1 billion users in 2021, putting it on par with Instagram.

This not only brings profits to TikTok itself and its brand partners, but also ensures that TikTok can pay its popular creators so that they post information more frequently, thereby greatly boosting the development of the community economy.

This is a reflection of the success of TikTok's sustainable, mutually beneficial business model.

TikTok officials said, "Whether it's a small store just starting out or a big brand with thriving branches, they are now using the magic of the TikTok community to discover new users and expand their business. Our goal is to provide the same opportunities to business owners of all sizes in the United States and help them turn their dreams into reality."

As the TikTok platform continues to grow, it will definitely become the future direction for e-commerce practitioners. For a group of sellers, this event is a great opportunity to gain in-depth understanding of how to tap the potential of TikTok for marketing. How to seize the opportunity for development is a question that every practitioner needs to consider.

The first party event will kick off on August 5th, let’s wait and see!
