Meikeduo's ban on sales policy update

At the same time, Meike Duofang stated that it will add new banned categories and impose restrictions on goods sold on the platform to ensure strict management of the platform.

Products that are prohibited from sale at all Meikeduo sites include: second-hand goods; frozen products; leaky products; unpackaged products; sprayable flammable, explosive, toxic, and corrosive products; products with a shelf life; products weighing more than 30kg and exceeding 60cm in size.

All sites are prohibited from selling the following categories of products: drugs and illicit drugs; bones, organs, human waste, animal and plant products; financial products, air tickets or airline miles and personal information; adult services, used underwear; violent services, products that infringe on intellectual property rights, and various non-compliant products.

Sites in Mexico, Brazil, Chile, and Colombia prohibit the sale of the following categories of products: military weapons, military telescopes, infrared telescope products; thermal sensors, medical equipment, and shell repair related products; batteries, ancient coin products; pesticides, insect repellents, tobacco and other related products; lithium batteries can be transported as part of a product and are not marked as dangerous goods, but cannot be operated separately.

Some sellers have reported that the products they sell are not within the scope of the sales restriction policy, but the products have been removed from the shelves. Why is this? The most likely reason for this is that the product name contains keywords that are strictly prohibited by the sales restriction policy and are detected by the system.
