eBay launches GBH promotion in the second quarter, Orange Logistics policy updated again

GBH (Global Buying Hub) is a global buying center for non-eBay sites, which can help sellers reach buyers around the world. When GBH buyers search for items on eBay, items shipped to the buyer's location from any eBay site will be included in the search results.

eBay said that eBay GBH can reach more than 150 countries around the world, but it recommends that sellers prioritize opening up 18 GBH high-demand markets in Europe, including Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Portugal, Greece, Hungary, Czech Republic, and Ukraine; Israel, Japan, South Korea, and Thailand in the Asia-Pacific region; and Puerto Rico, Mexico, Brazil, Chile, and Russia in Latin America.

It is reported that the Internet penetration rate in the above 18 countries is relatively high, especially in the Nordic countries, where the Internet penetration rate has even exceeded 90%. These countries are also the world's top economies or populous countries. For example, Northern Europe, Latin America and Asia are all high-demand GBH markets for eBay.

Sellers only need to set these countries as shipping countries for online listings or new listings, but eBay recommends that sellers use the eBay US site first to open the 18 GBH key countries.

In addition, eBay also released an important update to the SpeedPAK logistics management policy, stating that in order to further improve the overall logistics level of the eBay platform and improve the logistics experience of overseas buyers, eBay has updated the SpeedPAK logistics management policy based on the original logistics requirements.

For sellers who sell direct mail products to the United States, there will no longer be a distinction between price ranges, and all direct mail transactions from mainland China to the United States will be included in the SpeedPAK logistics management policy assessment scope. This adjustment will take effect on May 1, 2021 and will apply to all eBay sites. The latest assessment requirements after the policy adjustment are as follows:

Liquids, powders and other goods that Orange Union cannot transport will not be included in the assessment of SpeedPAK logistics management policy (both the numerator and the denominator are removed). If in the actual assessment, the seller's account is still warned or restricted due to Orange Union's untransportable products being assessed by the policy, the seller can submit a relevant appeal through the Seller Center or Account Manager/Customer Service. For the products that have passed the above appeal review, SpeedPAK logistics management policy will no longer be assessed.
