On the eve of 618, Business Advisor is open to all Taobao and Tmall merchants for free!

On May 14, Taobao and Tmall's essential operating tool "Business Advisor" announced its free details, including the standard version of all functional modules of Business Advisor. The professional versions of some functional modules will be changed from paid to free on May 19 and July 1 respectively.

This means that before Tmall 618, merchants will be able to use the free version of Business Advisor. Previously, according to a survey of platform merchants in the book "New Inclusive Economy" , the average monthly sales of merchants using "Business Advisor" were 10% higher than those who did not use it.

According to official introduction, after fully understanding the usage needs of merchants, the platform decided to expand the scope of free Business Advisor, involving 14 versions in total , including two aspects: 1. Providing multiple universal free versions for all Taobao and Tmall merchants on the platform, especially small and medium-sized merchants; 2. For high-level Taobao merchants and Tmall merchants, multiple personalized free versions are provided.

For example, new Taobao merchants who open a store on the first day can use six standard versions of the Business Advisor tools with different functions for free to help new merchants in the initial stage of their store opening. For Tmall and Taobao merchants at a higher stage of development, they will receive some professional versions of the Business Advisor tools for free to meet their advanced needs.

"In this way, small and medium-sized businesses can obtain support from the standard version of Business Advisor tools that meet their daily operating needs during the initial stage of their business start-up, reducing the difficulty of their use. And when the businesses enter a stage of rapid growth, they can obtain high-level professional version support." The relevant person in charge told reporters that the original intention of the design of this plan is to ensure that businesses can obtain support at every stage of development.

Business Advisor is a data analysis tool launched by Alibaba in 2011, and it has a history of 10 years. After continuous updates and iterations, Business Advisor can not only help merchants achieve business growth, but also provide assistance for the entire chain of e-commerce business activities such as customer service, logistics, and finance. It is an indispensable tool for merchants.

Helping merchants reduce costs and increase efficiency, and improving merchant experience is one of the core strategies of Tmall and Taobao this year.
