Linnworks integrates with Buy on Google to create a seamless shopping experience for consumers

Recently, e-commerce platform Linnworks announced its integration with Buy on Google , allowing consumers to purchase products directly on Google.

Buy on Google was launched in the United States in July last year, making it easier for retailers to sell on Google and helping businesses attract more consumers.

Convenience is key to a positive online shopping experience . Shoppers now expect browsing and purchasing to be an “always-on” experience. Therefore, reducing barriers to conversion is critical.

Many shoppers search for products on Google. Now, with Buy on Google, shoppers can move through the buying process and checkout through Google, too.

Shoppers across the U.S. see a "Buy on Google" icon and can check out using their payment information stored with Google without having to visit another site . This eliminates an additional step in the checkout process, and consumers are more likely to stay on sites they trust.

For sellers , selling directly on Google offers:

Selling on Google is a commission-free sales channel that provides sellers with a budget-friendly and low-risk opportunity to expand the reach of their products .

Sellers can customize the products they sell on Google , so they can, for example, test new sales channels for slow-selling products or help best - selling items reach new audiences.

Shoppers are able to checkout using payment information stored by Google, lowering the barrier to conversion.

By integrating Buy on Google with Linnworks, sellers can manage orders and inventory simultaneously , including their own website and other key sales channels such as marketplaces. By monitoring sales performance across all sales channels, sellers are able to maximize every revenue opportunity and automate key aspects such as inventory management , order routing , shipping, and fulfillment .

“Brands need to deliver an effortless e-commerce experience if they want to succeed in 2021,” said Jason Stuckey, General Manager at Linnworks . “At Linnworks, we’re committed to helping our clients achieve complete commerce control , and this integration with Buy on Google helps our clients reach U.S. consumers where they’re spending time shopping online .
