Busan will provide customized services for newly settled companies, providing online trade skills education from settlement to store operations and customer reception. This year, the project will still adopt a registration and screening system , and Busan will select a suitable list from local companies that registered before March 5.
As an initiative to respond to the Fourth Industrial Revolution and the rapid transformation of the digital economy, this is the fourth consecutive year that Busan City has promoted a support project for local companies to settle in Alibaba International Station .
In the past three years, Busan City's support for local enterprises has also yielded results. With the increase in product exposure, corporate visibility and business partners, the performance of enterprises is also very impressive. It is reported that among the enterprises supported by Busan City, two enterprises settled in Alibaba International Station set the highest export performance of the company last year, with export values of US$600,000 and US$120,000 respectively .
This year, in order to alleviate the problems of reduced income and financial difficulties faced by local companies due to the new coronavirus epidemic, the Busan City will reduce the self-funded rate of settled companies from 20% to 10%, and the number of supported companies will increase from 11 last year to 33.
Italy is also helping companies to enter the international site from the government level. Last November, witnessed by Italian Foreign Minister Luigi Di Maio, Alibaba and the Italian Trade Commission signed a memorandum of cooperation online to help Italian SMEs sell their products globally on the international site.
International companies have been entering Alibaba International Station, which shows that the latter plays an important role in the global trade of enterprises. A recent traffic development report of Alibaba International Station shows that in terms of import and export volume and proportion of China's major trading partners, ASEAN, the EU, the United States and Japan occupy the top four, and South Korea ranks fifth.

The report shows that in January this year, the number of overseas buyers on the international site continued to rise, with both active buyers and transaction buyers reaching a two-year high , with the highest year-on-year growth reaching 100% and 130% respectively. The number of active buyers in categories such as clothing, home gardening, beauty and personal care, sports and entertainment, and packaging and printing has increased significantly.
