At present, Alibaba Group’s official recruitment website has released multiple positions for Taobao’s localization team, with offices in Foshan, Suzhou, Jinhua, Xiamen and other cities. The positions involved include merchant development, merchant operations, content operations, etc.

A Taobao operation service provider said that the emergence of offline operation teams can solve the complex problem of multi-party resource docking, and it is also a service form that will inevitably appear when e-commerce develops to a certain stage.

The reporter learned from Taobao that the Taobao Tmall Merchant Operation Center is equivalent to Taobao's offices in various places , serving local merchants . It provides a green channel for new merchants to open Taobao Tmall stores, and provides operation training, resource docking, marketing support, and new brand building services to existing merchants , helping merchants grow rapidly.

Currently, it has started operations in Jinhua, Guangzhou, Foshan and Chaozhou. It is reported that more merchant operation centers will be opened in industrial belts such as Huzhou, Nantong, Xiamen and Huizhou in the future.

Since the beginning of this year, Taobao and Tmall have launched a number of measures to improve the merchant experience. Starting from March, you can search for "open a store" on the Taobao app and open a store for free after three steps: registration, real-person verification, and review. New Taobao stores are exempt from paying store deposits, and Tmall merchants can temporarily use deposits for store operations. In addition, Juhuasuan has cancelled price insurance, participation insurance and other fees to continue to reduce costs for merchants.
