BigCommerce revenue reaches $152.4 million in 2020, up 36% year-on-year

Fourth quarter of 2020 :


Total revenue for the fourth quarter was $43.14 million, up 39% year-over-year from $31.02 million last year .


Among them, subscription solution revenue was US$29.66 million, a year-on-year increase of 33% compared with US$22.28 million last year; partner and service revenue was US$13.47 million, a year-on-year increase of 54% compared with US$8.73 million last year;


In addition, BigCommerce also mentioned in its financial report that the number of accounts with an annual contract value (ACV) greater than US$2,000 was 10,184, a year-on-year increase of 12%; the average revenue per account (ARPA) for accounts with an ACV greater than US$2,000 was US$14,615, a year-on-year increase of 32%.


Full year 2020 :


Total revenue for the full year was $152.4 million, up 36% year-over-year from $112.1 million last year .


Among them, subscription solution revenue was US$104 million, a year-on-year increase of 25% compared with US$83 million last year; partner and service revenue was US$48.66 million, a year-on-year increase of 65% compared with US$29.41 million last year.


In this regard, BigCommerce CEO Brent Bellm said: "2020 has been a historic year for BigCommerce. We have remained strategically focused on meeting the needs of merchants of all sizes, and in the past quarter, we have further demonstrated our ability to disrupt the mid-sized and large enterprise markets, with ARR (annual total revenue run rate) for enterprise accounts increasing by 51% year-on-year . "


In the first quarter of 2021, BigCommerce expects total revenue to remain between $41.8 million and $42.3 million. Looking ahead to the full year 2021, BigCommerce expects total revenue to remain between $189 million and $191 million.
