About PAYSBUY

PAYSBUY is a leading online payment service provider in Thailand. It provides Thai people with a variety of payment methods, including credit card payment, bank transfer remittance, branch payment and e-wallet pre-charge business. It was established in 2004 and belongs to Total Access Communication Public Company Limited (DTAC), a well-known telecommunications giant in Thailand. PAYSBUY has a registered capital of 200 million baht and has a license to operate electronic currency business, providing electronic payment services and payment agent services. The company is regulated by the Central Bank of Thailand. PAYSBUY is the first e-wallet provider in Thailand and now provides a wide range of online payment business solutions. Although the online payment industry in Thailand has been developing for a long time, it has shown an explosive growth trend in 2013, and PAYSBUY has also entered a stage of rapid development.

Payment Features

  • PAYSBUY online payment supports a wide range of payment options (such as credit cards, cash and online banking), and currently has more than 600,000 users, including 15,000 online merchants. PAYSBUY supports 3 languages: Thai, English and Japanese. Supports payment in 10 currencies.

  • PAYSBUY also has a payment request service that allows customers to initiate payment requests to anyone. Customers initiate payment requests to the other party via email, and the requested party can pay within 24 hours through multiple channels provided by PAYSBUY.

Development History

-In May 2014, Alibaba's payment company reached a cooperation with PAYSBUY, a well-known third-party payment company in Thailand.

-In July 2017, Thailand’s payment giant Omise announced that it would acquire PAYSBUY’s payment business from local telecom giant Total Access Communication (DTAC), but the acquisition price was not disclosed. According to the transaction agreement, PAYSBUY’s payment department will be integrated into Omise, and other businesses will continue to belong to DTAC.
