Development History

- Ruby Lane was founded in 1998 by Tom Johnson and Jim Wilcoxson, and named in honor of Johnson's mother, Ruby, to create an easy-to-use online community of shops that showcase quality, pre-screened antiques and collectibles, ultimately allowing consumers to easily find the unique items they want.

In 2005, Wilcoxson left the company and Johnson became president and CEO.

-In 2013, the slogan "Vintage Begins Here" was launched.
