Four children died! The rocking chair in question was removed from Amazon

Safety should always be put first, especially for baby products!

Cases of recalls due to various safety issues are not uncommon. Recently, another baby rocking chair on Amazon was recalled. According to foreign media reports, the product has caused the deaths of four children, the oldest of whom was only four months old. It is heartbreaking to think about it. This is already a serious safety issue, and the local TV station is also reporting it.

According to the TV station's interviews with several buyers, they said that this rocking chair is very easy to tip over, especially the two dolls on it. If the child moves too much, the stand will not be able to support it and it will fall to the ground. If there is no one watching, it is easy to get into danger.

Buyer A: Children like to move around, but the structure on the side is very hard and they can easily get bumped.

Buyer B: I left for a while, and when I came back I found the child was trapped underneath.

Buyer C: I bought the product because I thought it was convenient after reading the description on Amazon's detail page. I didn't expect something so serious would happen.

The special feature of this rocking chair is the two small plush toys on it, which can attract children's attention as an auxiliary entertainment method. Many buyers are attracted by this. But this is also the biggest problem. The bottom bracket is too high. When children reach out to grab the dolls, it is easy to cause instability. It is best to have parents watching at all times.

This product has been removed from Amazon, but its upgraded version is still on sale. It can be seen that the bottom of the upgraded version has been greatly improved.

Local pediatric doctors said that sleep-related deaths are the leading cause of death for infants under one year old, with about 3,500 children dying each year. The best way for babies to sleep is on a relatively flat surface, such as a crib or cradle.

In addition to this baby rocking chair, other baby products that have been recalled recently include flammable pajamas, trampolines, toy paintbrushes, etc. The safety issues of children's products have become very common, and relevant sellers must pay attention to them.

But this case also serves as a warning to many sellers: some products may seem safe, but when used on babies, they may pose a great safety hazard. Sellers must be cautious when dealing with children-related categories!
