What is Multi-Channel Fulfillment? Multi-Channel Fulfillment Review, Features

Multi-Channel Fulfillment, or MCF for short, is a program of FBA that delivers orders placed at any e-commerce point other than Amazon.com (for example, on eBay or its own website) based on the merchant's request.

Create a Multi-Channel Fulfillment order

1. Create an MCF order at a time

1. On the Manage Inventory page (login required), select the items to be included in the order. The upper limit for MCF orders is 999 items for a single seller SKU and 150 items for multiple seller SKUs.

2. In the [Action] drop-down menu, click [Create delivery order].

3. In the [Shipping Address] text box, enter the buyer's name and address.

4. Check the quantity of delivered goods.

IMPORTANT: Once an order has been submitted, the destination address cannot be changed. If there is an issue with the destination address, you will not be able to resolve the issue until the order has been shipped. Orders containing items identified as hazardous materials cannot be shipped to a PO Box address.

5. [Recommended optional action:] Enter the buyer's email address in the [Buyer's Email Address] field to receive the order shipment confirmation email and tracking number.

6. In the Set Order Number field, enter the order number.

7. Under Print Packing Slip, check Order Number. By default, the order number is the same as the number in the Order Number field above. To use a different number on the packing slip, clear the Same as above check box and enter the new number.

(1) In the Order Date field, select the order date.

(2) [Optional]: In the [Remarks] field, enter a message (up to 150 characters).

2. Cancel multi-channel delivery orders

You can cancel any order that is in the pending, waiting, or processing status. You will not be charged for orders that are successfully canceled before they are shipped. If part of your order has already been shipped, you will be charged for the items that have already been shipped. You can usually cancel an order within 15 minutes of placing it. Orders that took longer than 15 minutes to create may not be successfully canceled.

How MCF works

Send all or part of your inventory directly to an Amazon fulfillment center. When a customer purchases your product through your website or other third-party sales channels, Amazon receives your order, picks it up, packs it, and ships it directly to your customer. You can use MCF whether or not you use Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA). If you use FBA to ship products you sell on Amazon, your existing inventory is available to Amazon customers and customers from your other sales channels.

Advantages

1. Fast delivery

Take advantage of the efficiency and accuracy of Amazon Prime. You can offer same-day, two-day, or standard (3-5 business days) shipping options.

2. Simplify operational processes

You focus on your business and manage your online presence from a single inventory source, letting Amazon take care of inventory placement, shipping carriers, and fulfillment throughout the United States.

3. Instant scalability

Scale your business without increasing fixed costs. With MCF, you can handle seasonal spikes in orders without using additional resources.

develop

On August 30, 2017, Amazon Asia launched a new multi-channel calculation method with the following changes:

1. Combined delivery costs

Order Handling, Pick & Pack and Weight Handling fees will be combined into one delivery fee (charged per piece).

2. Multiple-item discount

The more goods you deliver, the more favorable the average delivery fee per item.

3. Classification of new size gauge standards

Small Standard Size, Large Standard Size, Small, Medium, Large, Extra Large. Medium will no longer be a separate category.

4. Match the calculation method of Amazon (FBA) delivery

The calculation method of product weight and volume weight is adjusted to be the same as FBA and is charged by piece.

Delivery time

· Expedited delivery (delivery within 2 days);

1-day delivery.

FBA Shipping Comparison (US)

Customer returns for Multi-Channel Fulfillment orders are primarily for sellers who want customers to return items to an Amazon fulfillment center. Buyers must contact the seller and cannot request authorization for an online return through Amazon.

Shipping to APO/FPO addresses is available for Multi-Channel Fulfillment orders with an FBA Export agreement.

Delivery Query

On the Manage Orders page, click the order number. You can check the carrier's website for the delivery date.

If there is no tracking number, you can ask the buyer to wait 7 days after the estimated delivery date as there may be shipping delays.

If your shipment has not been delivered within seven days of the estimated delivery date, please contact Seller Support for inquiries.
