What is Spark? Spark Review, Features

Spark is a new feature added to the Amazon mobile app, in the "Programs and Features" under the App navigation menu. Spark is like a social networking site, where users can create personal profile pages, upload Amazon Wish Lists, various registration information, and upload pictures.

About Amazon Spark

Amazon Spark was launched in July 2017. It is a platform that allows users with similar preferences and purchasing habits to discover and communicate with each other, and to promote consumption. Currently, only Prime members can post, and non-members can only browse information, and cannot participate in posting or commenting. However, as long as you have an Amazon account, you can browse the content on this platform. Spark is available on iPhone and Android versions 14.2.1 or higher of the Amazon app.

Features

On Spark, users do not need to become friends with other users first. Instead, products that Amazon believes the user will like will be directly presented on the user's mobile phone interface.

Enter

First, download an Amazon APP, log in to your account, click the menu in the upper left corner, select "see all programs", and Amazon Spark will be there.

Use of Amazon Spark

1. Content that is not allowed to be published

Amazon Spark also abides by the terms of the Community Rules, so the prohibited items are similar to the actual platform operations, mainly including:

1. Create, modify, or publish content related to the products and services of the seller himself, his relatives, friends, or other related persons.

2. Create, modify or publish content related to competitors' products or services.

3. Create, modify, or post content in exchange for compensation of any form (including free or discounted products, refunds, or compensation) or post on behalf of others.

4. Offer or request compensation (including free or discounted products) to create, modify, or publish any content.

5. Publish advertisements, including citing other URLs or codes.

6. Amazon also strictly prohibits directing Amazon customers to other platforms for the purpose of marketing or increasing sales.

2. Content that can be published

1. Users can post content required by Amazon, such as reviews of purchased products, invitations to Vine projects, etc. In this case, the content posted by users needs to comply with Amazon's other requirements.

2. Users can answer questions about their own or related people's brands and products through Question and Answer. In this case, users need to clearly indicate their relationship with the product involved in the question. For example: "I represent the brand for this product".

3. Users can also post content other than customer reviews and Q&A about products that they have an interest in. However, as with the previous requirements, they must clearly indicate their relationship with the product. For example: "I was paid for this post".

Pros and Cons

1. Each published content on Spark can be clicked directly, and then you can enter the product page for purchase. This means that consumers can complete one-stop shopping without closing the Amazon app.

2. The conversion effect of Spark is higher than comparing products on the Amazon website. The reason is that compared with the white background and distant product pictures required by Amazon, these product usage pictures uploaded by users themselves in life scenarios are more likely to fit the buyer's imagination of the product.

3. The downside is that if a user gives a bad review of your product, you may be powerless to do anything about it, because Amazon provides many privacy options, including hiding user dynamics. Therefore, these users can also boldly give some bad reviews without fear of being found by the seller.

Development History

-In July 2017, Amazon launched Amazon Spark, which is currently only available in the US Amazon iPhone app.
