Ulmart is Russia's largest e-commerce company, founded in 2008 and headquartered in St. Petersburg. Ulmart initially focused on computers and electronic products, and was nicknamed "Russian JD." However, the categories it sells have now expanded to tools , power equipment, and toys.

The Ulmart platform has a huge influence, with sales exceeding 100 million in its first year and doubling this figure in 2011.

·Ulmart platform has expanded from selling electronic products to selling over 6,000 categories, including over 150,000 SKUs of its own products. Due to the special environment of Russia, Ulmart platform attaches great importance to logistics construction. After years of planning, Ulmart's logistics network in Russia now covers more than 240 Russian cities in 6 administrative regions, 2 suburban order fulfillment centers, 25 city fulfillment centers, 150 self-operated order delivery points, 850 cooperative delivery points, and 300 tons of logistics vehicles of different tonnages.

The platform has more than 500,000 unique visitors and 4 million page views per day. Since its inception, the platform has had more than 20 million registered users, and the average daily order volume has already exceeded 30,000.

Ulmart has established Ulmart Stores in many cities to sell the products on sale on its website.

The core age group of online users is between 20 and 35 years old.


Platform Advantages

1. The products sold and the prices are set by the suppliers themselves.

2. The quantity of product sales is determined by the supplier.

3. Before the products are sold to the end buyers, suppliers can return them to their own warehouses.

4. Ulmart is responsible for the warehousing and transportation of products.


Entry conditions

The information required to join the Ulmart platform is rather complicated and involves a large number of documents, which can be roughly divided into three categories: personal information, corporate information, and tax information. Finally, a platform agreement needs to be signed.

Information card with details of the counterparty;

· Copy of the Constitution (Regulations) ;

· A copy of the entry certificate in the Unified State Register of Legal Entities ;

Extraction of the unified register of legal entities from the tax inspection within a period not exceeding 30 calendar days;

·Copy of tax registration certificate;

· Copies of financial statements : Form No. 1 “Balance Sheet” and Form No. 2 “Report on Financial Results” for the last reporting period (sent by Stamp Duty Office or by electronic means or by mail with a receipt notification) ;

· A copy of the card with a specimen of the signature on the head, the chief accountant and the seal stamp (if there is a seal);

· A copy of the passport of the first person who signed the contract (with prior consent ); consent to the processing of personal data. In case of disagreement with the provision of a copy of the passport, the initiator of the contract employee will arrange a meeting with him and the person whose passport is present at the UBVK to sign the agreement;

If the person is acting through an agent, a copy of the document confirming the authority of the person signing the agreement;

A copy of the decision (protocol) on the appointment of the supervisor;

· The planned transaction amount is 100,000,000 (one hundred million) rubles, excluding VAT and above - proof of location: ownership certificate; copy of the lease agreement, effective to the current date, etc. If the address of the location and the actual address are not the same - it is desirable to obtain a copy of the other party's letter to the tax authorities of this fact with a sign of acceptance;

If the counterparty applies a special tax regime (USN, UTII, etc.), obtain copies of supporting documentation (notifications, etc.);

· Certification from the tax authorities that there is no debt to the budget in any form for a period not exceeding 30 calendar days.

For individual entrepreneurs, you need to provide:

· A copy of the intellectual property passport ( the first and second rotated with the photo, and a form indicating the address of their permanent registration);

A copy of the national registration certificate (OGRN) issued by the tax inspection agency for IP rights registered after January 1, 2004 ;

· A copy of the registration certificate in the Unified State Register of Individual Entrepreneurs (“EGRIP”, hereinafter) issued by the Tax Inspectorate - for individual entrepreneurs registered before January 2004, number “01” ;

· the original extract of the EGRIP issued by the tax authorities 10 (ten) calendar days before the date of the statement;

· A copy of the certificate on the establishment of tax accounting intellectual property rights and the allocation of INN;

A copy of the power of attorney from the person authorized to sign the agreement on behalf of the IP, with the relevant authority to sign the treaty ;

· In the absence of a stamp - a letter from the Presiding Officer confirming its unprinted activity.


Registration Process

1. The registration process to become a supplier of Ulmart is very simple. Go to the supplier section at the bottom of the official website homepage (click here), as shown below:

2. Fill in the application form and wait for the platform staff to review it, as shown in the figure:

The seller needs to fill in the following information: seller name, phone number, email address, company name, corporate taxpayer identification number, corporate organization code, cooperation type and product type, suggestions and remarks. Then click the "Submit" button.

3. After the review is passed, a staff member will contact you and collect the materials before the formal cooperation.


Settlement Fees

It is necessary to guarantee a balance of USD 5,000. The technical service fee rate for all categories is uniformly deducted at 8%. The settlement method is monthly (the 1st of each month is the settlement date of the previous month) and semi-monthly (the 16th of each month and the 1st of the next month are the settlement dates).


Settlement Mode

1. Window display mode: Ulmart puts pictures and descriptions of the seller's products on the website, and the platform sets prices. After the customer purchases, the seller will transport the goods worth the order amount to the platform warehouse.

2. Commission (stocking) model: the platform puts the seller's products on the website for sale. The seller first stocks the products in the platform warehouse and sets the sales price. The platform will ship the products after the customer purchases.

3. Ordinary retail: The model is similar to Amazon FBA. First, the goods are prepared in the platform warehouse, and then sold through the Ulmart platform.

4. Wholesale model: Products are sold at discounted prices on the platform website. Product inventory will be updated on the platform and its sub-websites, and the platform will ship the products after the customer purchases.

Note: The four models are different. Sellers can choose according to the nature of their products. However, it should be noted that the retail price setting and product ownership are different in each model, as follows:
