Another product manufactured by a domestic factory has been removed from Amazon!

In Europe and North America, product safety has always been one of the issues that regulators attach the most importance to. Any product with safety risks will be required to be immediately removed from the shelves and recalled once discovered by the relevant authorities.

Among various product categories, children's products are one of the most likely to be investigated by regulatory authorities. Many recall reports released recently are more or less related to children.

Recently, another product designed specifically for children was removed from Amazon due to safety issues.

Health Canada has issued a recall notice for Rojada child safety seats, warning that the products could pose a risk to children.

According to an announcement released by the Canadian Ministry of Health on Wednesday, these child safety seats may increase the probability of injury to children in a collision when installed in a car.

The agency said the child seats are not safety-approved by Transport Canada, which means they may not meet Canadian safety standards for car seats.

Health Canada warns that the use of these seats in a motor vehicle would be illegal under provincial and territorial highway codes.

It is worth noting that the Canadian Ministry of Health’s report specifically pointed out that these child safety seats all came from a Chinese manufacturer and were mainly sold on Amazon. Currently, these products have been removed from the platform.

Data shows that before the child seat was removed from the shelves, a total of 99 units had been sold in Canada . However, so far, the Canadian Ministry of Health has not received any accident reports related to this product.

It is understood that consumers who have purchased this child seat are asked to "immediately" stop using the product and dispose of it in a proper manner to ensure that it is not used by others again.

Although the scale of this recall is much smaller than previous recalls of tens of thousands of products, the frequent occurrence of such incidents may also serve as a warning to domestic practitioners.

For sellers, it is necessary to research the various regulations and product safety standards of the target market in advance to avoid the problem of non-compliant products. From the factory side, it is necessary to control the production standards and get rid of the labels of poor quality and cheap prices as soon as possible.
