Industry insiders said that this new shopping experience is a direct competition between TikTok and Temu in the United States . Currently, Temu is a newcomer in the e-commerce industry and has performed very well. With its ultra-low prices, it can even snatch traffic from Amazon.
According to anonymous sources interviewed by The Wall Street Journal, TikTok plans to launch this feature in the United States as early as early August, but a TikTok spokesperson declined to comment .
