As one of Ozon's main categories, clothing has always been the focus of the platform and sellers. Recently, Ozon's fashion business development director, Ioanga Ershova, spoke at the annual entrepreneur forum Ozon COM.E On and said that since 2019, the turnover of the clothing category has increased 20 times, reaching 82 billion rubles in 2022. And according to Ozon's forecast, by the end of this year, the turnover of this category on the platform will increase another 3 times.
In addition, Ozon plans to enter the Kyrgyz market in July this year and will start operating in the Armenian market this autumn , Sergey Goncharov , head of the market business department , said at the same event .
According to Sergey Goncharov , Ozon will also develop its own logistics infrastructure in Armenia . At the same time, this market will become the fourth CIS country entered by the platform .
Since 2021, Ozon has been developing its operations in Belarus and Kazakhstan and opened a representative office in Kyrgyzstan in December last year .
It is understood that Ozon has more than 175 million product names covering more than 20 categories - from books , clothing to food and health products. Ozon is striving to become an Internet platform , with more than 90% of the products on the website provided by third-party sellers .
According to Ozon , with the help of the developed logistics infrastructure, nearly 37 million active buyers have successfully received platform orders, which has also enabled thousands of sellers to sell their products smoothly in Russia .
