Amazon Global Selling Asia Pacific Seller Training Center officially opened

Today, Amazon Global Selling announced the official opening of the Asia Pacific Seller Training Center . This is the first comprehensive seller training center for Amazon Global Selling in the world , and it is also another important milestone in the five years since the launch of the official seller education program. The training center will be located in Hangzhou , and will be based in China and radiate to many countries and regions in Asia Pacific . It is an important base for cultivating and reserving professional, international, and complex cross-border e-commerce talents. Relying on the training center, Amazon Global Selling will comprehensively upgrade the existing seller training system and mechanism from four dimensions: training programs, course content, talent community, and innovation incubation. In 2023, it is expected that a total of nearly 5 million people will be trained, that is, one person will participate in the study of Amazon Global Selling related courses every 6 seconds . 1

The Hangzhou Municipal Government said: "Hangzhou has the world's leading e-commerce genes and rich e-commerce talent reserves, and is uniquely positioned to develop export cross-border e-commerce. In 2022 , the total export volume of the city's cross-border e-commerce reached 100.8 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 18.21%, and the number of cross-border e-commerce sellers has exceeded 100,000. We are well aware that talent is the key link in promoting the sustainable and high-quality development of cross-border e-commerce . Therefore, we are very happy to see the official opening of the Amazon Global Selling Asia Pacific Seller Training Center today , which will inject new momentum into the overall pattern of Hangzhou's cross-border e-commerce industry, and empower the training of cross-border e-commerce talents across the country and even the Asia-Pacific region, and ultimately help the majority of cross-border e-commerce companies seize development opportunities and build international brands. Leading with innovation, building a flagship model for cross-border e-commerce seller education

 

Amazon Global Selling adopts the "4X4X4" training system , combined with innovative mechanisms, and is committed to building the Amazon Global Selling Asia Pacific Seller Training Center into a flagship for comprehensive global cross-border e-commerce training.

 

First, the training center provides four major training programs, including seller encyclopedia, live cloud classes, hot spot aggregation and official lectures . Through diversified training programs, sellers are provided with abundant choices to meet the learning needs of sellers at different development stages, types and sizes. Over the past five years, more than 10 million people have participated in Amazon Global Selling-related courses, with an average learning satisfaction rate of over 95% ; and as the demand for cross-border e-commerce learning gradually expands, the compound annual growth rate of students has reached nearly 40 %. 1 With the opening of the training center, the world-class software and hardware resources such as star courses, projects, and teachers accumulated over the past five years have formed a clustering effect, which will create a diversified, multi-scenario, and multi-language learning experience for sellers in the Asia-Pacific region.

 

In terms of hardware, the training center integrates design, functionality, care, interactivity, and environmental protection. It is equipped with a multi-functional training classroom that can accommodate hundreds of people, a live studio equipped with a professional live broadcast system, and an open collaborative space, which supports various types and sizes of training activities. In terms of faculty, Amazon's official full-time lecturer team is stationed, all of whom are experts in Amazon operations, with an average of more than 8 years of professional training experience . After the opening ceremony, Amazon Global Selling Asia Pacific Seller Training Center will launch the first " Export Cross-border E-commerce Seller Education Week" from March 29 to April 4. At that time, Amazon's official training team will conduct 27 consecutive activities online and offline within a week, with experts from 14 Amazon Global Selling teams sharing.
