The first big promotion of the year for cross-border e-commerce is approaching, and the highlights of AliExpress’ anniversary promotion are here!

Recently, AliExpress officially launched the March Anniversary Promotion. As the first big promotion in the cross-border e-commerce field in 2023 , in order to bring more orders to merchants, AliExpress will make a series of heavy investments in key markets from March 1 , including Spain, South Korea, the United States, etc.

The anniversary promotion started in mid-February and lasted until March 12. The promotion lasted for nearly a month. The price control started on February 13 and ended on March 30, a total of 46 days. On the consumer side, the preheating started on March 18, and the official sales period was from March 20 to 26 .

In addition to the promotion time , there are two major changes in this year's anniversary celebration that are worth merchants' attention:

The first thing that needs attention is the inventory setting, which merchants need to pay special attention to . After the event warm-up (i.e. March 18) begins , the inventory on the product release page will be adjusted to only increase and not decrease. Merchants need to do a good job of inventory management on the product release page before the warm-up begins to avoid abnormal situations such as overselling.

Another thing that needs attention is that this year , AliExpress will invest in large-scale advertising to attract traffic in key overseas markets , including Spain, South Korea and the United States , starting from March 1 , on the eve of its anniversary celebration .

Merchants can focus on preparing stocks around these three major markets.

For example, Spain will carry out strong publicity in landmark advertising spaces in cities such as Barcelona; the US market will cooperate with thousands of Internet celebrities to cover the six major social software; in South Korea, in addition to continuing to contract subway advertisements, it will even invite well-known national actors to endorse the products to attract more consumers to AliExpress.

In addition, this year the platform will further increase the subsidies for cross-store discounts . Overall, AliExpress's investment in the March anniversary promotion has increased significantly compared with previous years, and merchants can seize the opportunity to prepare goods in advance.
