It’s settled! Amazon Prime Day 2022 is in July!

April 29, 2022, Shanghai   Amazon Prime Day 2022 will be held in July this year, and the event will cover more than 20 Amazon sites around the world. Including Chinese sellers, Amazon's global third-party sellers will provide Amazon's more than 200 million Prime members with super value discounts covering all kinds of products.


 

In order to help sellers prepare for the annual sales peak season , Amazon has launched a series of new initiatives and services in warehousing and logistics, brand building, compliance, and operations .

 

In terms of warehousing and logistics , Amazon provides sellers with a variety of options. From ocean freight FCL, ocean freight LCL , to express ships, air freight commercial flights and charter flights, and Z-Parcel official parcels , a variety of solutions meet the needs of different sellers. At the same time , combined with the huge demand for sellers to replenish stocks at the destination port during the peak season , Amazon has also recently launched the STAR service ( transport to Amazon FBA satellite warehouses) and STS service ( transport to sellers' designated overseas warehouses) to reduce the impact of supply chain instability on sellers and control transportation costs.

 

In terms of brand building, Amazon launched the full range of product search performance reports and search term performance reports on the US site in April , allowing brand sellers to effectively formulate peak season strategies with the help of multi -dimensional data insights . In addition, Amazon has also launched a self-service application process for brand tools, a $50,000 gift package for new sellers, an average 10% return on brand traffic incentive program , and 20,000 free codes for the Transparency program .

 

In terms of compliance, Amazon will speed up the review of appeals, strengthen monitoring of abuse of Amazon policies , and provide system protection for products participating in promotions to ensure the security of seller accounts during Prime Day.

 

In terms of operations, Amazon has also launched the "Sprint! Prime Day 2022" theme event on official WeChat, websites, emails, live broadcasts, official classrooms and other channels familiar to Chinese sellers, providing sellers with practical information for the months-long Prime Day preparation stage. The content covers topics of concern to Chinese sellers, such as promotion submissions, traffic generation , conversions, logistics, account health, brands, and advertising .

 

"It is encouraging to see third-party sellers around the world continue to set new sales records on Prime Day, making this annual event a great opportunity for sellers to build international brands and expand their global business, " said Cindy Tai, Amazon's global vice president and executive president of Amazon Global Selling Asia Pacific. " This year, Amazon provided all-round, localized support for Chinese sellers' preparations in advance. Coupled with the enthusiasm and investment of Chinese sellers in new product selection, new products, brand building, and digital operations, I believe this year's Prime Day will be even more exciting."

 

Since 2015 , the number of sites covered by Prime Day has continued to increase, and the performance of third-party sellers has repeatedly hit new highs. During Prime Day 2021 , Amazon 's global third-party sellers' sales performance hit a new high, with an increase that exceeded Amazon's own business. During the event, Amazon Prime members purchased more than 250 million items worldwide , including high-quality products from third-party sellers around the world. The best-selling categories included tools, beauty, nutrition and health, mother and baby, electronics, clothing and home life.
