With over 1.4 million monthly visitors, Worten has become the most popular e-commerce platform in Portugal

July 27 news, according to foreign media reports, recently, market research company Marktest conducted a survey on Portugal 's e-commerce market in June. The survey results showed that during June of this year, the most popular e-commerce platform in Portugal was Worten .

 

Data shows that in June this year, Worten 's PC coverage reached the highest level among all platforms in Portugal, with 1.421 million people , accounting for 16.6% of residents aged 15 or above in mainland Portugal .

 

In addition, among the top six platforms with the highest PC coverage , Aliexpress ranked second in Portugal with a coverage of 1.156 million people , accounting for 13.5% , while Amazon, Continente, Fnac and Booking also received more than 1 million PC visitors.

 

From the perspective of gender distribution, Worten is also the website with the greatest impact on both men and women , while Amazon and Aliexpress can only rank second and third , at 17.3% and 15.8% respectively .

 

It is worth noting that if we only analyze the female market, Continente is a platform that cannot be underestimated. In June this year , the website became the second most popular website for Portuguese women, with a PC coverage rate of 13% for women , while Aliexpress ranked third with a share of 11.5% .

 

In terms of age, comprehensive data shows that Worten has a huge influence in all age groups, but among young people, especially those between 15 and 24 years old , Aliexpress ranks first with a share of 27.6%, while in the age group between 25 and 34 years old , Amazon is the most popular, accounting for 21.4% .

 

From the regional perspective, data from each region shows that, except for the North Shore region , Worten still ranks among the top. In the North Shore region, the website with the highest PC coverage is Aliexpress , with a coverage rate of 16.3% .

 

According to the social class, Amazon has become the most popular platform for the Portuguese upper class with a coverage rate of 31.3% . Finally, from the traffic data, in June , Amazon's page visits reached 66.8 million times, ranking first, followed by Continente ( 54 million ) and Booking ( 48.5 million ).

 

Combining various data, we can see that Worten has performed very well in all aspects, and the Portuguese e-commerce market is in a booming stage. Sellers who want to enter the Portuguese e-commerce market can pay more attention to this platform and seize business opportunities.
