Involving child safety! Amazon recalls children's products again

Recently, the Canadian Ministry of Health said that some products sold on Amazon are being recalled because they pose a threat to the safety of children.

 

One of the products being recalled is the AOSKERA children's sleepwear, which was sold on Amazon.

 

 

Health Canada issued a consumer warning stating: "The recalled sleepwear does not meet the flammability requirements for children's sleepwear and poses a risk of burns to children."

 

In addition, they also said that loose-fitting children's pajamas are more likely to come into contact with fire sources such as flames, candles and matches than tight-fitting pajamas. Once ignited, they will burn quickly and may cause serious burns to children's bodies.

 

As of April 2022, the company has not received any reports of injuries from Canada.

 

The company reported that more than 100 affected products were sold here between May 2021 and March 2022.

 

Health Canada said consumers should stop using the recalled products immediately and dispose of them. If they want more information, they can contact Amazon through the company's website.

 

Another recalled product is a baby walker suitable for children aged 6-24 months. There are two styles of baby walkers, one with music, product number (ASIN B09HGPQRW9), and one with adjustable universal wheels with easy-clean tray, number (ASIN B09NXYWM54). Both products are sold on Amazon.

 

 

"The recalled baby walkers are prohibited for use in Canada because they may pose a dangerous risk to children, " Health Canada warned. "Children in baby walkers are exposed to many previously unheard of hazards, including the risk of a child falling down stairs, which could result in injury or death."

 

As of March 25, 2022, the company has not received reports of accidents or injuries in Canada, where 33 of the baby walkers were sold between November 2021 and March 2022.

 

According to Health Canada, consumers should stop using the recalled products immediately and contact Amazon staff by email or phone for refund instructions.

 

Children's safety has always been an important topic of concern to all countries. News of Amazon's recall of children's related products is not uncommon. Product recalls will not only lead to an increase in sellers' logistics and product costs, but will also affect the seller's reputation. Therefore, when sellers export goods, they must do a good job of supervision to avoid product recalls.
