Global sellers set new sales record on Amazon Prime Day

Amazon Prime Day 2022 came to an end yesterday. During the two-day event , Amazon's global sellers, including Chinese sellers, set new sales records, and their sales growth on Amazon exceeded that of Amazon's own business. Consumer electronics and household goods deployed by many Chinese sellers were one of the best-selling categories in the world during Amazon Prime Day this year .

Data released by Amazon globally showed that during the event, Amazon Prime members purchased more than 300 million items worldwide , and global consumers purchased more than 100,000 items every minute . In terms of supporting small businesses, global consumers created more than $3 billion in sales for small businesses in the three weeks before Amazon Prime Day .

In China, as early as before the start of Amazon Prime Day this year, Amazon Global Store and Amazon Advertising launched a number of initiatives to help Chinese sellers prepare for the peak sales season in advance. Next, Amazon will continue to innovate products and support sellers to help sellers continue to grow. It will also help sellers connect with high-quality advertising service providers through "ad creative services", optimize creative elements such as pictures and videos in one stop, and enhance brand image. In order to help sellers efficiently complete inventory clearance after Amazon Prime Day, advertising guidance services are launched for sellers using different logistics solutions.
