At the beginning of this year, many sellers reported that their canceled or deleted shipments were rejected by Amazon, and they speculated whether Amazon had some new regulations.
As expected, Amazon recently issued a new announcement. The announcement stated that starting from April 1, 2022, if sellers send canceled or deleted goods to Amazon, the goods may be rejected . In addition, the seller's ability to send additional goods to Amazon may also be restricted.
This means that if the seller's goods are rejected, it will cause a lot of trouble for the seller. The seller will have to carry out additional processing and re- route the goods , which will increase additional costs. At the same time, the seller's inventory reception and sales time will be delayed, affecting the overall operation progress.
Amazon pointed out that rejected shipments mainly refer to those that were deleted after the shipping plan was approved , the quantity of goods was wrong, the shipment was incomplete, etc. In order to avoid the problem of sellers' goods being delayed , Amazon also made some suggestions to sellers.
Amazon recommends that sellers specify the quantity , content, and other information that may affect shipment distribution when creating a shipping plan . After the shipping plan is approved, make sure the goods are sent to the designated fulfillment center and the plan covers the quantity and content of the goods.
In addition, sellers are reminded that after the multi-destination shipping plan is approved, do not delete any shipments or send the shipments along a different route , and make sure your FBA box ID label is clearly visible and delivered to the address on the FBA box ID label no later than 30 days.
Some sellers expressed their understanding of the above-mentioned changes in the new policy, but some others questioned the number of days required for delivery.
These sellers said that because the supply chain problem has not been resolved, it will take at least 45 days for sea freight to arrive , and this time limit is not unreasonable. In addition, there have been frequent cases of sellers’ inventory “disappearing” for no reason recently. The mismatch in the quantity of goods has also affected the sellers’ progress in receiving the goods.
However, many sellers have said that they have already followed this unofficial regulation and do not want any problems to occur before the Chinese New Year. As the Spring Festival approaches, in order to ensure that the goods can be received in time and not affect the subsequent sales, sellers must strictly control each link and act in accordance with the regulations.
