Recall incidents occur frequently, and children's toys are affected again!

Toys are indispensable in every child's growth process. A good toy product can not only make children more happy, but also help develop children's intelligence. When choosing a toy product, in addition to fun, safety is also very important.

Recently, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced the recall of a children's toy product with the recall number 22-073.

The recalled products are Adam the Apple™ stackable toys for children, which come in 15 wooden blocks, each with a story on it. They are about 6 inches tall and 6.5 inches wide when stacked and look like a smiling red apple with a leaf on it. The leaf features the Adam Apple slogan and illustrations by Chris Bayonne and Patrick Carlson.

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission believes that the surface paint on the wooden toy exceeds the lead content of the federal lead paint ban. If young children accidentally ingest these toxic lead substances during play , it may cause adverse health effects.

The product is reportedly manufactured in India. Between June and November 2021, about 200 units were sold online at www.stackemupbooks.com for around $25. The product was also given as a gift at the Philadelphia Gift Show in July 2021. So far, no safety incidents have been reported regarding the product.

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission said that consumers who have purchased the product should immediately take the recalled toy away from children and contact Stack Em' Up Books to obtain a prepaid shipping label to return the recalled product. Consumers who purchased the product will receive a full refund after returning the product.

As a vulnerable group, children's products have always been a high-incidence area for recall incidents. European and American countries also have strict control over children's products. Sellers of related categories must understand the local product safety regulations in detail when selling products, strictly control product quality, and effectively protect the personal and property safety of consumers!
