Sales of 697 million euros, more than 3,000 brands, and steady growth of Showroomprivé

According to foreign media reports, French online sales platform ShowRoomprivé recently released its 2020 financial report, showing its good growth trend in 2020.

 

Sales of €697.5 million and 3.3 million buyers

 

Financial report data shows that in 2020, Showroomprivé 's sales reached 697.5 million euros , an increase of 13.3% over the previous year. In particular, in the past 12 months, online sales increased by 14.1% to 688.1 million euros.

 

Specifically, its online sales in France totaled 581.7 million euros , up 15.4% from the previous year . Internationally, sales increased by 7.5% to 106.4 million euros , thanks to the return of favorable logistical conditions in the second half of the year.

 

As for Showroomprivé's other non-core revenues, including offline product sales activities, sales fell by 24.6% due to the epidemic . However, this does not affect the overall growth trend of the Showroomprivé platform.

 

In addition, the Showroomprivé platform has also improved in profitability. From a loss of 70.5 million euros in 2019 , it returned to profitability in 2020. In the last fiscal year, it made a profit of 13.9 million euros , and its earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization also increased from 31.4 million euros to 42 million euros.

 

Last year, the Showroomprivé platform attracted and retained a large number of new buyers through targeted advertising campaigns . By 2020, the Showroomprivé platform attracted 800,000 new buyers and the number of buyers increased by 5.1% to 3.3 million .

 

The massive increase in the number of buyers has also contributed to the growth of the platform's order volume . In 2020, the platform's order volume totaled 14.1 million , an increase of 5.7%. In addition , the average value of the shopping cart increased by 6.7% to 44.2 euros.

Showroomprive.com is a French e-commerce company specializing in online flash sales. Last year, Showroomprivé increased the attractiveness of its platform through brand repositioning, supply diversification , and an alliance with the new Prime Technologies , which helped increase the number of its brands by more than 1,000 new brands.

 

With the influx of new benchmark brands , Showroomprivé has gradually gained a foothold in market segments such as fashion , home (interior design and home appliances) and beauty . In 2020, Showroomprivé has nearly 3,000 partner brands , an increase of more than 50% compared to 2019 .
