Wish’s “price reduction empowerment” function will be closed, and many policies will change!

Recently, the Wish platform released a message to remind platform sellers that its "price reduction empowerment" function will be closed on January 15 this year . For merchants who are currently using "price reduction empowerment", Wish also announced the specific time node.

After January 7, 2022, Wish will no longer allow merchants to create new "price reduction empowerment" activities. All existing activities will end on the 15th, and starting from the 31st of the same month, the merchant platform will no longer provide activity performance data.

It is reported that the cancellation of its price reduction function is mainly to prepare for the launch of a new promotion platform. It is worth noting that Wish has made many policy adjustments recently. It has also announced the details of the Wish Standards project, including shortening the payment cycle for high-quality stores, adjusting the commission ratio, and canceling policy compensation (including 12 violations including manipulating reviews and ratings, misleading products, etc.).

In terms of shortening the payment cycle, starting from February 6 this year or after that date , stores with a "Platinum" level will enjoy the benefit of the "Wish Standards Weekly Payment Plan". The payment cycle will be adjusted from once a month to once a week , and the store accounts will be calculated and paid every Tuesday .

However, the policy of shortening the payment cycle to one week currently only applies to "Platinum" stores and does not yet apply to other stores.

In addition, Wish has also made comprehensive adjustments to other policies. Overall, there have not been many changes in policies, and the adjustments are more inclined to mergers or deletions.

From the peak season to now, Wish platform has been "quiet". Some time ago, the platform was asked to withdraw from the French market, which attracted attention from the outside world and affected its reputation. It is understood that the reason for being asked to withdraw from the market was problems with product safety and consumer rights protection.

However , Wish has not been affected in other markets. Platform sellers should still pay more attention to changes in its policies and make advance plans in a timely manner based on platform policies.
