Walmart launches new partnership to develop home storage products

Recently, Anthony Soohoo , executive president of Walmart 's U.S. home business , announced that it will cooperate with The Home Edit to launch home storage products and services to help consumers organize their household items , and will broadcast the "Get Organized with The Home Edit" program on Netflix.

 

Soohoo describes the new The Home Edit range as high-quality, stylish and affordable homewares, which includes local brands such as Delonghi, Dyson, KitchenAid, Nespresso and Casper, as well as exclusive collaborations with brands such as Gap Home, The Pioneer Woman, Queer Eye, My Texas House and Beautiful by Drew Barrymore .

 

According to Soohoo , consumers have spent more time at home over the past two years , which has increased their spending on household goods to a certain extent . As home becomes an important place for consumers to work, go to school, eat, exercise and rest , clutter has begun to pile up.

 

In order to organize their homes, consumers began to look for solutions in Walmart stores and showed a particular interest in transparent acrylic storage boxes . However, despite the increase in demand , 70% of Walmart customers still said they didn't know where to start when organizing their homes .

 

And with the new year around the corner, many consumers are starting to tidy up their homes, so January is the perfect time for Walmart to offer its customers exclusive products from The Home Edit .

 

Soohoo mentioned that the launched The Home Edit series is a comprehensive home storage solution that is stylish and functional, and its products are suitable for almost any storage and organization purpose.

 

It is reported that when the product is first released, the series includes four entry-level storage boxes for storing items in specific rooms (such as food storage rooms, bathrooms and laundry rooms) , as well as multi-purpose storage bags that can be used in various home spaces .

 

Soohoo said that   Home Edit's signature fresh style makes stored items easier to see and blends in seamlessly , helping consumers keep their homes organized without sacrificing aesthetics .

 

Soohoo also added that the series of products are priced between US$9.98 and US$24.98, and consumers can enjoy the high-quality transparent storage products provided by Walmart at prices far lower than those in specialty stores .
