Amazon sellers have more or less heard of Amazon's Brand Accelerator Program. According to Amazon, participating in the Brand Accelerator Program will receive marketing support, exclusive traffic, brand protection, product selection guidance, and a series of fee reductions and other privileges.

 

However, recently, some sellers reported to Yien that after they and other sellers joined Amazon's brand accelerator program, they found that the effect was not good, and when they applied to withdraw, they found it difficult to withdraw due to various reasons ...

 

According to the seller, he participated in the brand accelerator program of Amazon.com in May, and Amazon will charge an additional 7% commission for each product .

 

However, after using it for a while, the seller felt that the program was not very effective and the 7% commission was a bit high, so he decided to quit after evaluating it. Since his previous investment manager had resigned, the seller could only open a case in the background to apply for withdrawal.

 

The seller said that he had been opening a case in the background since October and applied to withdraw until early December . However, the other party replied that after applying, he had to wait 2-3 months before he could withdraw from the program, during which time Amazon would still charge commissions .

What the seller didn't understand was why it took so long to exit the brand acceleration program. Afterwards, the seller followed up several times via email, but the reply he received was that the other party was powerless and could only wait. As of press time, the seller still has not been able to exit the program.

 

In addition to this seller, a considerable number of sellers have also reported this problem. Most sellers reported similar situations: the planned commissions were too high and the effects were not obvious. When they wanted to withdraw, they could not find a way to do so , could not contact the investment manager, and received no responses to emails and WeChat messages, making it impossible to withdraw smoothly.

 

"They said I could apply to withdraw at any time, but now I can't contact them at all," a seller complained.

 

Finally, the seller said that Amazon’s plan may be good, but it may not be suitable for everyone, and sellers should consider carefully before joining.
