With the rapid development of e-commerce today, consumers' requirements for express delivery services are getting higher and higher.
According to a survey by the British consumer organization " Which?", more than half of British consumers encountered delivery problems last Christmas, including delayed delivery, damaged or missing goods, etc. Some respondents also said that they received products they did not order.
Among these people, 19% of the respondents said that they encountered delayed delivery of their packages , 11 % of the respondents said that their packages were left outside without any notification, and 7% of the respondents said that their packages were directly lost.
The survey results show that about 80% of British consumers have shopped online in the past six months . Therefore, regardless of the level of customer satisfaction, the delivery volume of couriers has not weakened.
Which ? surveyed 4,002 members of the British public and found that one in five consumers said they would give up buying something if the seller used a courier they didn't like.
In addition, the agency also conducted a survey on British consumers' satisfaction with several major express delivery companies.
According to the above survey, we can see that British consumers are most satisfied with Amazon Express, up to 90%, followed by Royal Mail, DPD, Parcelforce, DHL, FedEx, Hermes /My Hermes and Yodel , with consumer satisfaction rates of 88%, 86%, 85%, 84%, 82%, 82% and 80% respectively .
Those who had received a delivery through Yodel in the past six months had the worst experience. In particular, many consumers reported difficulty arranging a redelivery through Yodel , with only 41 % rating the process as good .
A Yodel spokesperson said : “We are proud of the hard work and diligence of our workers across the country and welcome all feedback from our customers to support us in addressing issues that arise in our service. Findings from independent review platforms also show that we are making continued progress in improving our service levels . ”
In short, as an important part of improving consumers' shopping experience, sellers should also work harder on logistics services. logistics UK Market Amazon |
