10,000 pieces of children's clothing were recalled and sold on multiple platforms

If you pay attention to the CPSC, you will find that recall incidents are often seen, and among them, many are from the Amazon platform, and there are many children's products. Recently, a children's robe was recalled.

The children's robes involved in the recall come in six sizes: " 2 , " " 3-4 , " " 5-6 , " " 6-7 , " " 7-8, " and " 10-12 ," and are available in black , navy, blue plaid, red plaid, red, royal blue , and gray . The robes have two front pockets and a belt, and a label behind the collar that reads "Made in China" and "100% Polyester."

The robes were sold on Amazon and Walmart from August 2019 to June 2021 , with prices ranging from $35 to $45 . The recall involves 10,000 pieces . The reason for the recall is still that it does not meet the federal flammability standards for children's sleepwear, posing a risk of burns to children . No relevant accident reports have been received so far.

According to the recommendations of the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, consumers should stop using it immediately and contact the seller for an appropriate refund.

Children's safety has always been a priority, so the review of various children's products is relatively strict. In addition to the common failure to meet flammability standards, there are many reasons for recalling children's clothing. Recently, a children's jumpsuit was also recalled because the buttons were easy to slip off, posing a risk of suffocation to children.

According to data, in the first three quarters of this year, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission ( CPSC) issued a total of 173 recall notices, and children's products were also the hardest hit. Among the 13 recalled textile and clothing products, there were 7 children's pajamas. The main reason for the recall was that the products did not meet the flammability standards for children's pajamas, posing a risk of burning children. It can be seen that for children's clothing, the "flammability standard" is very important.

In addition to clothing, toys are also common in children's recall incidents. Sellers should be careful when dealing with children's products.

Recalls not only affect the seller's reputation, but the losses caused are also a considerable cost. Sellers should pay attention to strictly control product quality and avoid recall risks.
